Guthalungra
Situated around forty-three kilometres west-northwest of Bowen and sixty kilometres southeast of Ayr on the Bruce Highway in Yuru country, the rural settlement of Guthalungra was named after a significant local Indigenous figure when the first stage of the railway line from Bowen reached the Elliot River in 1889.
